What is DropShock?
DropShock (formerly known as TinyWarz) is a free massively multiplayer, turn-based game where players battle other players and computer controlled bandits on distant worlds. Time is an important factor in DropShock - players are given a limited amount of time to finish their turns and are rewarded for early completion. In DropShock, each player is represented by a commander which they can customize through skills and abilities that are purchased with level points.

What can I do in DropShock?

You can create an army, construct / customize units, assign crews, design bases, and battle to control planets. Watch your hired crews improve in combat and select special abilities for your command crew as they gain experience. Grow your army with salvaged units or buy them from other players through the in-game market.

What do I need to play DropShock?
DropShock is designed to be played through your web-browser. However, unlike traditional web-based games, DropShock utilizes graphics instead of text. DropShock is also fast paced - players need to make quick decisions concerning their units. Fast game-play creates battles that can last a few minutes to an hour.

Javascript must be enabled to play DropShock.

Colorful Deposits

Ore deposits color now change based on the amount of Ore they contain. Deposits with 500 or less ore are yellow, 1,000 or less ore are red, 1,500 or less ore are green and deposits containing 1,500 or more ore are now purple (a planet may need to completely orbit before these colors are correctly displayed). This change also modifies the Mining Surveyor Acti, this Mod now increases the amount of ore a deposit contains by 10%, if the deposit has less than 1,500 ore in it. These colors only appear if you are not using the Icon zoom-level.

Also:
- Porcupine Assault Vehicle now has Volley Acti, all weapons do +50% damage this turn and no damage next turn (6 Charges)
- Ares Meka built-in Energy weapon now does double damage to Armor
- Jabberwock Meka now has 10 Controlled Speed when it Teleports
